  1. Business & Main Dashboards disagree!?

On 8/3 the Business Dashboard for AZ shows Hospital Visits for Covid-19 at 4.7% for the week of 7/26. The Main Data Dashboard shows Inpatient visits at 8.9% and ER visits at 6.4% for the same week.

Why the discrepancy? Which is accurate?

  2. Include schools in Congregate Settings

Include schools in the Congregate Settings data, show elementary schools vs. high schools. This is important information for the public to know when school begins in the next few weeks.

Universities are included, why not schools?

  5. Include more color categories in ArcGIS display COVID-19 by zipcode

The highest grouping is >40 cases, but many zipcodes have far exceeded 40 cases. The map is not providing good resolution of case density in populous areas.

  7. Include Additional COVID-19 data now!

AZ STATE GOVERNMENT: I hope the state of AZ provides more explicit and detailed covid-19 data on Arizona'z covid-19 website. Though you allowed additional data starting 3.29.2020, the website is among the least informative to state residents. As you know full voluntary participation by Arizona's residents is the goal aimed at shortening the rise to the spread of COVID-19. We need to see at least demographics; of active cases, town/cities considered hotspots, hospitalizations and discharges, along with fatalities. Let Arizonans see understand how their participation (behaviors) in "stay-at-home", "social distancing", "handwashing", and wearing a mask in crowded grocery stores during…

  8. Wearing a mask!

I just saw your public service announcement with Doug Ducey and Cara Christ, MD regarding COVID-19 and ways of protecting oneself and others from this virus. NOWHERE in the announcement was it mentioned or suggested to wear a mask, and I am APPALLED at the ignorance of leaving this item out of the announcement. Shame on you! As a healthcare provider, I am outraged over your blatantly leaving this suggestion out of the messaging. Don’t make this political because of trump refusing to wear a mask. Do not tout trump’s ignorance just because Ducey is a republican!

  10. Improve Hospital Usage graph for COVID data

Please add "normal" ICU bed utilization to the graph. Clearly it cannot be expected that ICU utilization goes to zero in normal conditions. So what would the expected ICU bed utilization be if COVID were not a factor?

  11. Employers need to be given PPE preference for workers

Make sure every childcare and school employee and students have access for masks and cleaning products-program to help get them at a discounted price. Health care licensing is checking for compliance!!!!!

  12. Update zipcode map

The zipcode map is almost useless when all zips are same color. Need to change granularity so you can identify zips with >100, >500, >1000, etc.

  13. What occured on 7/30/20?

Does anyone know what happened on 7/30? There is a huge spike in cases from that specimen date. And given the tests reported as being performed on that date, the infection rate is >40% for that day. I can't find any reference to any new testing initiative or anything else happening on that day.

Hope the data for 7/30 reported so far is correct, because it is making the week of 8/2 look up week over week.

Also, anyone ever been able to talk to a data analyst from AZDHS? Been doing this kind of work for 30 years and…

  15. AZDHS COVID19 Data Dashboard, "Date Updated" Out-of-Date

The "date updated" on the AZDHS data dashboard appears out-of-date (ironically). For example, the "Hospital COVID-19 Specific Metrics" tab shows data from June 14th but the footer says "date updated: June 7th". Other tabs might be like this.

  16. Covid data reporting

I really appreciate your website data! I would like to see the CoVid19 data for cases by age group broken out into equal categories, 20-44 is misleading as it is a much larger group: this should be 20-34 and 35-44 to match the other groups being compared. As a result, the data would not appear skewed to affect younger people as it currently shows.

  18. Why is July 26th deleted?

Update this for more than just two weeks past! July 26th was on here yesterday and now it has disappeared! This should be more updated than 3 weeks ago so proper decisions can be made!

  19. Show numbers of cases and deaths in congregate settings as a group.

No need to call out individual settings, but at least show impact of the virus on the overall group of congregate settings. Even better by type of congregate setting e.g. long term, correctional, etc.

  20. SHOW RECOVERED COVID DATA!

There's numerous individuals requesting you show the same thing...Does ADHS have something to hide? Not showing a comprehensive picture causes one to wonder if the data shown is even valid...take a look at New Mexico's COVID summary (or Oklahoma's) - they have done a nice job of presenting a much clearer picture of what is happening in their state.
