  1. Your graph for number of ICU beds in use and availble.

During COVID we should see past use of ICU beds used/available as well as how many are being used by COVID patients vs other patients. This ends up being misleading as the rate you state for COVID patients is low, but ICU bed use is high. Maybe this is actually due to other patient needs and not due to COVID.

  2. up date the dashboard

When is the #2 Benchmark going to be updated? The last update was August 2. We would like to get our lives back and this is the last benchmark we need to meet in AZ to potentially do that.

  3. allow death rates to be seen in the bar graph for individual counties.

The covid-19 deaths page does not allow you to see the deaths for individual counties over time. The confirmed cases chart does allow you to click/highlight a county and see the cases over time in the bar graph. it would be likewise good to see the deaths over time in the bar graph when highlighting a particular county. Thank you.

  4. Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases.

Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases. This is misleading and hurting Arizona's public health response.

As of this morning (June 29th, dashboard updated June 28th), the AZDHS data dashboard reports 673,818 total tests (PCR + AB)with a 9.6% overall CV19+ (positive) rate. This is a total count of 64,686 CV19+ test results. The total number of CV19 confirmed cases is reported as 73,908. This does present a serious data-reporting issue whether test results are being corresponded to individual cases or if each CV19+ test result is being reported as a…

  5. make the graphics printable

The charts should be printable, it looks like you are intentionally trying to hide the statistics. What number of deaths have co-morbidity issues? Right now that number appears to percentage of cases.
Finally why are we shutting down many businesses?
Why don't you tell people what vitamins to take to bolster their immune systems?

  6. More age categories for the dead plus underlying conditions

You need to add more age groupings:
    65-74
    75-84
    85 and older
Also knowing if people had underlying conditions is helpful

  8. COVID = Provide enough data to calculate Minimal/Moderate/Substantial

It is unfair for AZ ADHS to have data internally and not present externally to calculate benchmarks for opening Gyms and Bars. It's possible (with difficulty) to pick out the number of cases for a week period but not possible to see percent positivity and covid like illness for a week period. It is unhelpful to the extreme to show only positive cases accumulated since the start of testing. If the ADHS is going to make decisions based on the data you must provide a way of third party checking - otherwise it's a star chamber.

  9. Positivity Rating is a circular metric

Positivity Rating is a circular metric. If more people without covid happen to get tested it will go down. Flu season will drive this metric down even if the rate of covid were to remain the same. This metric should be removed or replaced with one that actually indicates whether schools should open.

It would also be nice if this were updated more regularly. It's August 24th and the last update was August 2nd for Maricopa county.

  10. provide a print opition for COVID-19 dashboard

Schools are being asked to use the dash board data to inform reopening decisions. It would be nice to print date specific outcomes by county. The data format does not print legibly. Everything is forced up in the upper left corner.

  13. 2-3 Years of Hospital and ICU Bed Data

It would be helpful to compare this year's data against previous years data for the same months. This would give more context to the current situation. If hospital and ICU beds are normally only 60% used in previous years (March thru June) then there is more reason for concern. Also an overlay of COVID-related bed usage against total bed usage would also be helpful.

  14. Include both PCR and Serology in #2 benchmark for schools

Why do you use both PCR and Serology numbers for the total case in the #1 benchmark for schools, but only (what appears to be) PCR when for the #2 benchmark for schools (the % positive)? This seems odd to not be using the same data for both benchmarks.

  16. Are all the deaths shown from just Covid-19 or all deaths

So how does anyone KNOW that the numbers of deaths and confirmations presented just from having COVID-19?

  18. Show hospital bed use/available as a stacked bar graph rather than percentage graph

The way hospital bed usage and availability beds is shown, as percentages available/unavailable, doesn't reflect on the fact that the total number of beds has been changing with time. People can find that information by hovering over a bar for a particular date, but it is not immediately obvious how the total number of beds has changed over time. If this was displayed with the number of beds used on the bottom bar, and the number of available beds on the top bar, it would be immediately apparent how the total number of beds grew and when.

    For instance, the…
