  1. Bring back previous genealogy.az.gov website!

    I have been using genealogy.az.gov for years. The new Genealogy Record Search on azdhs.gov is awful! The old website displayed far more information, including: more records per page, total of how many records found, which county the record was from, and a color distinction between death and birth records. Also, the new webpage is far slower at searching the records and to make matters more frustrating, it doesn't even produce the same records. Also, all the old links that were saved to the records are now obsolete. At least have the old pdf pages link to same record, but at…

  2. Recent changes to the online search of historic vital records is a terrible mistake

    You have made the search less effective, and no longer searchable by county, and date ranges. Please restore the old functionality.

  4. Additional age detail on Covid deaths on the dashboard

    Over 75% of the deaths were over 65. Please breakdown by age groups of no more than ten years, like you did for 45 to 55 and 55 to 65. Add 65-75 and 75 to 85 and over 85

  5. I requested an application for a copy of my birth certificate via the phone & have not received it yet.

    please make it easier to print an application for a copy of a birth certificate. The Microsoft Reader wouldn't open for me.

  8. Your Vaccine Registration Process is Non-Functional

    I am trying to make your system work more easily and not jam up with traffic: Your logic should be: STEP 1: Applicant enters all data required and it is saved (presently is erased and must be re-entered on each search). STEP 2: Rather than ask persons for a date to search vaccine event availability, the site should suggest the next available date and location to the applicant (!) I have been searching dates endlessly. I hit a wall (no available dates) then must leave, lose all data, and must start again (entering all data and searching for dates again!).…

  9. Allow to pick which County as in prior website and mother's maiden name allowance

    This new format does not allow for Native American Names. They do not allow Navajo Name that does not always follow first, middle and last. Previous website was more user friendly. This site always show NO Results. Anything close to search does not show up. Which at least was the case in previous site.

  10. Tell us how many have recovered

    How many cases of the virus have recovered so far? Just telling us how many we have and deaths doesn’t give us an accurate picture.

  13. Error CORRECTIONS

    I am an almost daily user of your data base, but today I came across a mess. All entries for Pima County, 1912 Deaths, numbers 33 through 48 are incorrect names and they are from Maricopa and Mohave counties. Are there coresponding entries elsewhere that are correct for Pima County?
    As an aside, when searching for any given year in Pima County (and I assume each county has similiar entries), there are about 30 inirial entries that are the same for any given year search that have incorrect dates which anyone with access to your system could correct in a…

    My wife, Francisca Amada Acuna was born in the Ajo Hospital on 3 August, 1965. Would that birth have been automatically registered at your central records office for births, deaths and marriages? If so, how do we apply for a copy of the birth record, please?
    That hospital in Ajo was closed down many years ago so if there is no central recording office for the State, where are those hospital records archived so that a copy of the original birth certificate can be accessed?

    I am having difficulty finding the log in page for the DAVE site to be able to fill out a death certificate. once on the web page, it is not intuitive to be able to find the log in.
