Better metric for Cases Unknown
Why is Cases Unknown 54% for Race/Ethnicity I would think that race is pretty easy to figure out.

Display positive Covid-19 cases as percentage of total population in county
I think a percent positive compared to the total population would show the area that are hardest hit.

A need for clarification
I’m a bit confused about your reports on Covid daily cases reported. Your summary shows a new case count of over 4000 statewide. But when you go into the daily report and tally up July 9th county by county, I only come up with around 230 new cases. Where is the discrepancy and why?

Night-time COVID Testing Hours
RE: COVID-19 Testing Site Hours
It is much too hot and dangerous to be in line for hours in the daytime peak Arizona heat. I am a senior and have an old car without air conditioning. If I have COVID symptoms and/or am not feeling well, I definitely would not be able to sit in line without air conditioning for hours. Please remember that many low-income folks don't have cars or their cars don't have adequate air conditioning. Not everyone has family or friends to drive them to a test site.
Suggestion: At least for the hot summer months, make…4 votes -

Boxes alone won't improve the dashboard. What you need is a line charting presentation.
Covid data is needed in a proper format. The dashboard currently is imprecise. The backroom needs to better analyze data using a 2pt moving range layout, and present it in a line chart format.

Extend graph to show 6 months of data pre covid
Graph shows increasing occupied beds in hospitals since 3/26. What was average pre COVID. Information would be nice to see for comparative purposes.

Percent Positive for Covid cases is INCORRECT
Percent positive for total covid cases divided by total tests is NOT CORRECT. Your calculation is OFF. Do the math and you will see that today 7/9 for the 7/8 data is really 13.4% and NOT the shown 11.5%. WHY IS NO ONE CORRECTING THIS ERROR?????

Repeat testing
On the COVID dashboard, there is no clarification as to ‘repeat’ testing. For example if a healthcare provider gets daily tests, are they individually counted? This could really skew the numbers of large populations are counted multiple times as negative.

"Confirmed Cases" should represent individuals infected, not simply number of positive test results.
"Confirmed Cases" is confusing since it appears to be reported by the test specimen instead of individuals infected. I don't know for sure if this is what's going on, but it seems like it. If so, AZDHS ought to correspond test results with individuals tested to account for repeat testing, and report a proper "confirmed cases" count. This will provide a more accurate picture of Arizona's CV19 situation, and thus, better policy decisions. Points addressed with slightly more detail in this AZ Daily Star letter and the first comment on it: https://tucson.com/opinion/letters/local-issues/letter-covid-19-data-in-arizona-garbage-in-garbage-out/article_56f828b8-c140-11ea-a697-b3dbebea2bee.html?mode=comments

Percent Positive
The percent positive is based on all positive cases since testing began. This figure isn't relevant to the percent positive today. Why include the 0.4% positive from March when today's rate is 35%? Your risk of contacting COVID 19 is much higher today based on today's infection rate, not April's.

This website is too hard to use and too confusing
I cannot find any icon that gives me covid numbers. Typical government. Why can't you put that on the home page? Too much info on here when the info people need should be first. So frustrating. Why can't the creaters see that?
