Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases.
Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases. This is misleading and hurting Arizona's public health response.
As of this morning (June 29th, dashboard updated June 28th), the AZDHS data dashboard reports 673,818 total tests (PCR + AB)with a 9.6% overall CV19+ (positive) rate. This is a total count of 64,686 CV19+ test results. The total number of CV19 confirmed cases is reported as 73,908. This does present a serious data-reporting issue whether test results are being corresponded to individual cases or if each CV19+ test result is being reported as a new case even if multiple CV19+ test results are for the same patient/individual. I would consider this a crucial data reporting issue.
