  2. Display COVID-19 data by residence community

Displaying COVID-19 cases by Zip code is very helpful, and it would be even more useful if you displayed cases (and deaths) by residence community, e.g. Golden Hills, Aspenwood, Stonegate, etc.

  3. Report COVID-19 testing from all sources and not just DHS.

Your failure to report all testing makes it appear that you have something to hide. Get the data, and make it available!

  4. Please include number of RECOVERED COVID19 patients

Please include number of RECOVERED COVID19 patients. The current numbers let us know how bad it is... it would be very helpful to also see something hopeful.

  5. Locality of positive Covid-19 person(s)

Locality of positive Covid-19 person(s), say the town at least or even the general area such as NW Valley or Central Phx, would give a person a better idea of places to avoid such as movie theatres, grocery stores, etc.and to be more careful of sanitation.

  6. Daily covid-19 death chart

The covid-19 daily death chart is not consistent with what the actual data given for that day. For April 22 and 23, the number of deaths reported was 21 for each day. The chart published shows 1 death for the 22 and 4 for the 23rd. That gives an impression of a declining death rate when, in fact, it appears to be significantly.

  8. "Confirmed Cases" should represent individuals infected, not simply number of positive test results.

"Confirmed Cases" is confusing since it appears to be reported by the test specimen instead of individuals infected. I don't know for sure if this is what's going on, but it seems like it. If so, AZDHS ought to correspond test results with individuals tested to account for repeat testing, and report a proper "confirmed cases" count. This will provide a more accurate picture of Arizona's CV19 situation, and thus, better policy decisions. Points addressed with slightly more detail in this AZ Daily Star letter and the first comment on it: https://tucson.com/opinion/letters/local-issues/letter-covid-19-data-in-arizona-garbage-in-garbage-out/article_56f828b8-c140-11ea-a697-b3dbebea2bee.html?mode=comments

  9. We can no longer read entire chart titled: Testing for COVID-19 in Arizona

Adding the new risk graphic to the right side of that chart and adding the hashtag is cutting off # of cases tested, pending, and ruled out, This is important information to the public.

  11. Make data available for download

A quick search reveals numerous requests with multiple votes to make your raw data available to the public. Your resistance makes the public suspicious and mistrustful. This is taxpayer funded, it is our data. Do I need to file FOIA request?

  12. Separate data from Serology versus PCR tests.

While you are reporting the number of PCR tests and serology tests separately each day, in the cumulative reporting you are combining these two tests. It is not clear if the positive/new cases data includes the positives from both tests or not, but calculating the percent positives, suggests that you are conflating Serology (antibody) positives, which newly diagnosed cases, which is skewing the data making it impossible to determine actual trends in the data and make conclusions about the real situation in our state. Please correct the data and separate out anitbody results from new cases.

  14. % positivity poor benchmark for returning to school, please drop

Forget using % positivity as a benchmark for returning to school. It's biased by the number of people getting tested.

As an example, healthy people don't go get tested, why would they?

Hospitalization rates and cases per 100,000 individuals are the benchmarks that matter, and more accurate.

  15. Concerns with prescriptions for opioids

I have been on a opioid prescription for 3 years and it is one of the few of many I have tried that works. My dosage was cut in half because of the people abusing it. It is wrong the I have to suffer in pain because of other peoples abuse! Something needs to be done about this because their are many more people who are paying for it too. I have Lyme's disease and arthritis and some days are better that others but without the meds I take my quality of life would be really really bad! I hope…

  16. COVID-19 Cases by Day doesn't show recent days/weeks

The space on your website for the COVID-19 Cases by Day is way too small and only part of the graph is visible. The most recent days and weeks are not visible. The graph is pretty useless without this information. Please fix!

  17. Report covid-19 cases by city rather than county.

There are enough cases now that they should be reported by city. This way the public can see hotspots within the counties. Also you should report if the spike in cases during the last few days is due to people returning from spring break or something else.

  18. Death counts and graph

Why doesn't the grpahs of daily deaths for COVID-19 match the numbers of deaths you are reporting. For example, May 6, 2020 you posted 31 deaths and yet the bar graph indicates 3? Inaccurate, please fix.
