Change the map coloring metric on the COVID-19 county map
Thumbs up on the County map. Thanks!
I suggest that rather than use the simple "number of cases" as the metric to select the map colors, you switch to using either "per sq mile" or "per population."
Consider:
Peoria 85382: it has 71 cases for 40454 people, making it just worse than...
Phoenix 85003: it has 12 cases for 9369 peopleBut comparing either to the 21 cases in Tempe 85282 which has both more area and more population (48671) isn't very clear from the map. Tempe 85282 has one case for every 2318 people. Peoria 85382 and Phoenix 85003…

COVID-19 Cases By Day Graph Cut Off, please fix
The new bar chart is clipping off at April 8. The totals don't match the running total, so pretty sure there's a window size problem, and data after April 8 isn't being shown.

awesome site folks
Publishing stats on covid-19 with breakdowns by age, gender ethnicity! Every state in the Union should be doing the same.

specific guidance for chiropractors and other care providers
Hi. Today is April 14, 2020, and I've visited 2 chiropractors over the past 10 days for needed assistance. Neither of those chiropractors are practicing any type of enhanced sanitary practices, such as washing or sanitizing hands between patients, wearing masks of any sort, encouraging social distancing between patients, or sanitizing the tables and equipment used during their services. The governor's executive order states for all essential businesses to "implement...sanitation measures established by the US Dept of Labor or the AZ Dept of Health Services". I've searched the websites of both of these organizations and cannot find any sanitation measures…

Convoluted
Firstly you said on the website that there is a link to locate by ZIP Code coronavirus cases I press on the link and it takes me nowhere!!
Why doesn’t the Arizona Department of health provide daily briefings on TV!! The entire health department response has been atrocious
People do not want to go to navigating through a dis-organized website to get vital life and death information! It’s pathetic that you do not have a public TV access in order to provide the most pertinent informationAnd as for your testing ability has been absolutely negligent

PLEASE PLEASE change the title of the graph of daily cases to read NEW cases by day,
PLEASE PLEASE change the title of that graph to NEW cases by day, Its not clear that these are not total cases, they are just NEW cases. For people who aren't used to reading data tables, this could be a big source of confusion since it makes it look like AZs total case count is flat.

Substantial community spread: list of cities
The Executive Order re: out of state travel says it will list additional areas as they are added. There should be a very obvious place where that list exists. Is it still just NY Tri-state area? What about California/Los Angeles, which has substantial community spread and excessive deaths?
Further, what about travelers coming by car? What's the difference? They are still bringing the virus, just not by air. I understand it is hard to enforce by car, but it should at least be included in the executive order!

Statistics
Would it be possible to break down the Covid 19 statistics a bit more, for example of the sumtotal of infected people, how many are still considered infected, or have processed out of the system. So instead of constantly showing a sumtotal, we would be able to see newer data, perhaps a bracketed set for a giving time period and then within that bracket how many of that group are actually in a hospital, or have been released.

site is confusing
The hospital beds, icu, ed etc is an important metric, however, upon viewing it, the appearance is that we have used up all our icu beds. You might consider changing how your graph reflects. place a measure for total beds, total icu beds, total ed, total normal beds as an available measure then show us how many are used up right now to the date. the way you have the graph it looks like we are completely full in icu and that is not what your numbers say.

Zip code - it’s just the mobile version that doesn’t work
Please fix.
Thanks.1 vote -
Thanks for fixing, but more data is needed
It would be nice to have the number of hospitalizations and that data broken out by how many in ICU and how many on ventilators.

CV19: Make more timely death, new cases information reports
Worldometer says they use AZDHS data for their DAILY updates on new cases, deaths, etc. for Covid19 reporting.
However, the AZDHS website lags sometimes 3 days behind Worldometer reporting this data.
Additionally, the daily deaths, while the same in total, vary WIDELY day to day between Worldometer and AZDHS. For example, April 5 had 12 deaths on Worldometer, and 4 on the AZDHS.
Worldometer seems to be accurately reporting deaths and other Covid related data for other states.
Please do what you can to be sure Worldometer is getting accurate data from AZDHS, and Please update your daily data in…1 vote
