  1. Define Terminology

What does “Number of New Cases reported today*“ actually mean? The latest update shows a large spike, but this seems at variance to other data points. So what, exactly, is included in that metric? Thanks.

  2. Covid-19 Dashboard data is incorrect

News agencies and Health Care industry officials are reporting statistics that are not reflected in your dashboard. For example: Banner Health reports a quadrupled rate for use of ventilators. This has been happening for awhile. There seems to be a major disconnect. It is your job to keep appropriate statistics and report them to the public.

  3. if the raw data isn't going to be made available,

Can you at least provide more information that breaks down the new positive tests by age group? All that is present is the number of tests by age group.

That said, it is completely unacceptable that all the raw data is not made available, as others have noted.

  4. AZDHS COVID19 Data Dashboard, "Date Updated" Out-of-Date

The "date updated" on the AZDHS data dashboard appears out-of-date (ironically). For example, the "Hospital COVID-19 Specific Metrics" tab shows data from June 14th but the footer says "date updated: June 7th". Other tabs might be like this.

  6. Include more color categories in ArcGIS display COVID-19 by zipcode

The highest grouping is >40 cases, but many zipcodes have far exceeded 40 cases. The map is not providing good resolution of case density in populous areas.

  7. Summary page new tests reported is an incorrect number

Somebody messed up some webpage or spreadsheet - the number for New Daily tests is not the difference of yesterday's test total and today's test total. Needs to be corrected. This error may have propagated to other metrics - not sure. You guys can figure that out.

  9. Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases.

Individual CV19+ test results from the same individual/patient should not be counted as individual confirmed cases. This is misleading and hurting Arizona's public health response.

As of this morning (June 29th, dashboard updated June 28th), the AZDHS data dashboard reports 673,818 total tests (PCR + AB)with a 9.6% overall CV19+ (positive) rate. This is a total count of 64,686 CV19+ test results. The total number of CV19 confirmed cases is reported as 73,908. This does present a serious data-reporting issue whether test results are being corresponded to individual cases or if each CV19+ test result is being reported as a…

  11. Add more data to covid dashboard.

Please update the data presented on the dashboard to include the political affiliation of the deceased parties.

There seems to be assumptions that members of the Republican party are immune to covid-19 and do not need to wear masks. Sharing this information might encourage the public to either change their party affiliation or choose less risky lifestyles.

    Thank you.

  12. Break Down the 65+ group into 10 year periods.

Would like to see number of cases and deaths for group 65-74, 75-84, and 85 and older. It might give some hope to those in the 65-74 group instead of lumping them in with 85-115.

  13. Change back to the old MMJ application system

The rollout of the new application system has been riddled with problems. The processing time of applications has increased. Many patients are struggling to access their portals because of errors in the data being used by DHS. Hold times on the phones have increased. When speaking to anyone within the office, everyone regrets the changes were made. The easiest way to fix this terrible rollout is to resume accepting applications through the old system. In less than 8 weeks there will be no more renewal applications to process for a year. Those are the patients who are causing the most…

  14. Make Wearing a Mask like Buying a Raffle Ticket

Informing, begging, threatening, and shaming are all being tried to increase the number of people who wear masks. How about rewards? Any preschool teacher can tell you that students clean up faster if a teacher circulates around the room giving stickers to kids who are doing their jobs. Even though it seems ridiculous to reward people for doing the bare minimum to protect their neighbors, I think incentives will have some effect and save some lives. Also Americans enjoy gamification. I think if undercover agents gave out $100 gift cards (or even $1000) daily at random to people wearing masks…

  15. explain exactly how the numbers are compiled

How can the public take the data seriously when deaths reported are so far removed from the deaths on the bar chart. Why doesn't the system include how the numbers are reported with specific examples.

  16. Can we set up a meeting to go over opening our pool tables.?

We have 48 tables and can easily social distance. Rule says parlor games. Pool and darts are not parlor games and one player plays per turn. The other is 10 ft. or more away. We appreciate the chance to open , our capacity is over 600 , we have kept it under 200 to be safe. Our main business is pool and dars.
