  1. ACTIVE CASES BY ZIP CODE

    Knowing that after so many days Covid has either reached it's quarantine period or are over a month old. Why wouldn't you subtract old cases and give people a true or near true estimate of cases in a particular zip code rather than just stacking on numbers and reporting false numbers.

  2. Updated COVID Data for Schools

    The School's COVID data is only available through Oct. 18. I know we are getting close to meeting metrics which would close schools down, so updated metrics are vital!

  3. DISCHARGE INSTRUCTIONS FOR COVID + PATIENTS.

    COULD OUR MEDICAL STAFF COME UP WITH A HOME PLAN OF CARE THAT INCLUDES INHANCING IMMUNE SYSTEMS ETC FOR DISCHARGED COVID 19 PTS?
    CURRENTLY WE ARE ALMOST COMPLETELY FOCUSED UPON ISOLATION SOCIAL DISTANCING MASKING ETC... AND VERY LITTLE INFORMATION IS GIVEN TO THE PATIENT TO HELP THEMSELVES GET BETTER.
    IT SEEMS TO ME THERE ARE ACTIONS THAT COULD BOOST IMMUNE SYSTEMS TO DECREASE MORBIDITY.
    SOMETHING AS SIMPLE OF EATING SEVERAL ORANGES A DAY WOULD HAVE SOME + AFFECT IN MY VIEW.
    THE SOONER ONE IS IMPROVED THE BETTER FOR THEM, THEIR FAMILY, THE COMMUNITY. MANY OF THESE SAME HEALTHY LIVING…

  6. Covid-19 Vaccine/Vaccination data to your dashboard

    Provide the following data on the Covid-19 dashboard:
    1. Vaccination plan - A weekly estimate of how many people will be vaccinated in each vaccination group.
    2. Vaccine doses provided to each AZ county and doses administered. Aggregate county data to the state level and compare actual to plan.
    3. More detailed information on vaccination groups like actual plan dates for vaccination groups, what groups are being vaccinated, how to schedule an appointment, where to get vaccinated, etc.

    It would be best to have a 'next available' option in the scheduler therefore not having to toggle through each date individually

    I am trying to book appt.
    Nothing is available.
    I'm a teacher and tried to book appt.
    I feel discouraged and disappointed.

  9. show available time slot for vaccine appointment without signing in

    It will be great to provide an almost up-to-date view of the available appointment without signing-in by category (phase 1a, 1b, second dose) .This will encourage people to utilize any available time slot without checking every possible date and location

  10. Allow rural people to get the Covid vaccination

    Your current portal to sign up for Covid vaccinations absolutely prevents anyone living further than 50 miles from a site with vaccine from signing up. This includes people in the highest risk categories. Is the plan to kill rural Arizonans? Why are you doing this?

  11. Vaccine scheduling website should have first available option

    Trying to find an open slot is a pain because most slots are full. Why not have a first available option so the website tells you when and where to show up, instead of a hit and miss of trying to guess when a vaccine slot may be available.

  12. High risk people younger than 65 need covid vaccinations too

    Until recently your announced policy would have let persons under 65 but high risk qualify for vaccination when over-65 persons qualified. I care for someone who needs it a lot more than persons being vaccinated now but she's 64. She's had 4 kidney transplants and has been on immunosuppressants for 45 years. I'm concerned you're focusing on populations you can glamorize in the news - like your pop up events - and forgetting who needs it most.

  13. Expand (CoVid) Find Vaccine map for Sedona / Cottonwood areas to include Sedona Walgreens & CVS & Cottonwood’s Spectrum Healthcare?

    We are a small group helping individuals getting their appointments and wanted to mention the following items.

    On your https://vaccinefinder.org/search/ re: the Sedona / Cottonwood areas would it be possible to include the Sedona Walgreens & CVS as well as Cottonwood’s Spectrum Healthcare?

    May we also suggest, it would be great if you might create a means both via the internet and perhaps by in coming phone call - where the last mile vaccination groups might more easily and consistently update their vaccine availability?

  14. The daily .xls download of COVID cases by zip has not been updated since 3-22-2021.

    It is 10:53AM on 3-25-2021 and the .xls download still matches the 3-22-2021 file. There are no error messages on the website. https://www.azdhs.gov/preparedness/epidemiology-disease-control/infectious-disease-epidemiology/covid-19/dashboards/index.php

    Has this been discontinued?

    Edited: 03-26-2021. 09:14 AM. I notice that the number of cases in the download file do not match the numbers in the online map display.

    Example. Zip code 85658. File: 937 Map: 939.

    The connection between horse racing and the Arizona Department of Health
    The intersection of horse racing, particularly Geni Du Turf and Le Jephte turf, with public health initiatives like those from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) can foster community engagement and health awareness.

    Promoting Health: Horse racing events can serve as platforms for health education, where ADHS can disseminate information on health issues affecting the community.
    Community Events: Collaborations can lead to health fairs at racetracks, combining entertainment with health screenings and resources.
    Funding Initiatives: Profits from racing events could be directed towards health programs, enhancing public health…

  19. Cell phone application for Diabetes Management

    To Whom It May Concern;

                                      I am writing you concerning a wonderful, easy, effective and user

    friendly I-Phone application for type 1/type 2 Diabetics and persons above their BMI

    for age/*** wanting to reduce their chance of developing a metabolically based disease.

    The phone application guides patients to select better foods based upon their G.I or G.L,

    (Glycemic Index or Glycemic Load). The application however is very effective because the

    foods are grouped by similar "FLAVOR". Hence the accomplished goal of Lowering the A1C to 6
