Good evening--

I checked into this hotel on 10/15. Over the course of one day, I have seen a person doing drugs in the stairwell. I have heard people arguing outside my door (I am on the ground floor) at all hours. Trash decorates the parking lot. Tonight (10/16), as I was watching television, I heard water running in my bathroom. I investigated and discovered water pouring down from the bathroom celing. (I shot video but the file is too large to attach.)

I complained to management. I informed staff I would be leaving tomorrow morning and I expected a refund for the remainder of my stay (I booked a week).

Staff was polite and accommodating (she offered to move me to another room).

I have no problem with staff; I accuse the owners of neglect. I booked a week's stay for $400 and change. For that price, I did not expect five-star service. But to permit anarchy? To turn a blind eye to people doing drugs? (I suspect there is prostitution but I have no concrete evidence.)

I suspect the people who stay here are like me--poor. But we deserve better. From the hotel and from Phoenix.
