    "Recovered" cases presumes that the person returned to the level of health they enjoyed before first getting infected. That's not necessarily the case. Instead, you seem to be referring to "survived" cases, where a person simply didn't die right away. For instance, a person was hospitalized and eventually discharged. Don't forget the people who "recover" with permanent damage to their lungs, kidneys, or other organs, including the brain.
