The all-electronic filing system for the card registry was designed to be efficient. It reduces the amount of time it takes the public and the staff to process applications. The webchat function is available during working hours, you can email and call. If you’re having problems getting through to a person, leave a message and they will return your call in the order it was received. The office returns calls and voice mails within one business day.

  2. include some sort of recognition for qualifiying patients who do not live in the city, i.e., ones that live in an unincorporated area.

    Thanks for sharing your concern.
If you need help identifying your address, email M2programsupport@azdhs.gov a description of the residence via the parcel number and/or township range and section or coordinates and we can assist from there.
Hopefully we can work through any issues that come up.

  3. As the husband of the patient, I believe that it is inaapropriate to preclude me from entering the disbursing area of the dispensary.

I provide the transportation for my wife to get to the dispensary. She does not drive. I provide for payment of all our household costs. I do no use marijuana. Why am I precluded from being present with my wife when she lawfully purchases here needed medical marijuana. That makes no sense, and interferes with our togetherness. As long as I do not interfere with my spouse's decision, I should not be precluded from being in her presence.

You cannot find a list of dispensaries on our website because we are not allowed to share them except with qualifying patients. We send a list to patients on a monthly basis.

  5. I misplaced the emails sent to me. Please resend them. I have a current Dr.s Rx.

I had the emails that were sent to me. Having my daughter uploading the information, they were lost. Please email me how I give the information needed to finish the renewal process. I'd hate to loose the money it took me so long to send. That is why I'm having this trouble. It took me 6 months to get the monies together. Sending an outdated Rx.

    Yours Truly,
    Carolyn.

  6. Correct the flaws in Our laws

Local jurisdictions fall under the stated law the same way as anyone else are they not ? I recently returned back to the state from California and am a qualified medical person. It seems to me the bureaucracy involved in this program is excessively burdening to the people of this state.I attended the meetings in Flagstaff and as well as Phoenix. And specifically expressed the 10 foot wall. As it is not possibly realistic for a person on disability to afford the overwhelming cost of such a monumental requirement.I was under the impression that was corrected in the statute as…

  7. Where can I find contact information for DRC holders

Where can I find contact information for all of the initial DRC recipients? Based on your FAQ and other replies made by the official ADHS account I, as a current and valid card holder, am privileged to this information. How do I go about obtaining what I am looking for?

  9. Nothing you guys are awesome

Thank you for letting me know what my rights are. This law is still fairly new and some don't know about it because it is so new. But your site helped me get a job even though they required a drug test. I'm glad someone could see that you don't have to be impaired to test dirty. I know what and what not to do while I'm at work and I deserve to work. I got an Associate's of General Studies it's not much but it's more than what other people have and I should be able to be judged…

  10. try answering the phone

How about more people to answer the phones, I've tried 50 times and can not get through.
Second, how come I can get next day service thru the mail on my license tags, but it takes you folks forever to get the cards to people?

  12. azhealth.gov/medicalmarijuana is a fake URL

impossible to respond to your article, Your Input Needed. The URL is a fake. It takes me to different unresponsive places each time I have tried it. Shame on you. You cash a public funds paycheck and you play jokes on sick people.

  13. why not a temp printout and E mail letting patants know the card has been mailed out!

It would be a big help if we had a better idea of when to expect the card in the mail, even better why cant we get a 7 day temp ID with # while waiting, Just hate having to wait 2 weeks to get the medicine, you don't do this to people needing an ID or DL! many dmv offices can print you out a new drivers licence while you wait, I can't help but feel like the 2 weeks is un called for in todays technological age! especially for the $ you charge.

The Arizona Medical Marijuana Act (AMMA) does not authorize our agency to issue temporary cards. Also, if an applicant has submitted an application, it is only when our agency approves the application that then generates a card to be mailed. Just because an applicant submits an application does not mean a card would be issued. It is our agency’s responsibility to review the application prior to the card being issued. When the application is approved, you are notified by email (to the email address you listed in the application). The card is then mailed within 2 business days. The AMMA also requires that an individual be in possession of a registry identification card in order to be presumed to be within the medical use of marijuana. You are welcome to contact us any time during business hours to determine the status of your application. We are available Monday…

  15. Security outside is vital to women

As my daughter and I entered the parking area we felt threatened by the men in cars sleeping or high and no security personal outside of the store. Thank you.
