On 11/19/2020 I received a positive covid test result while residing in a Skilled Nursing facility following major surgery. The facility immediately moved me to a "covid unit" where I was quarantined until my release weeks later. I experienced no significant symptoms of infection during that time. On 2/15/2021 I received a letter at my home from MCDPH stating recent notification of my positive testing & the steps I should take including contact tracing. Recent? It's been 3 months. Perhaps MCDPH processes need to include a check of the date a person tests positive prior to sending out a useless letter like I received. What a waste of time and money!!!
