At a minimum we need a table showing Covid deaths by week.
To put that in perspective we need an additional chart that shows the death rate by week for:
- Average of past years
- This year's death rate by week
- The death rate attributed to Covid by week.
In other words, please provide us a view -- by week -- of how many people normally die, how many are dying above that from Covid, and how many are dying above that for unknown/other reasons. For a model, see the Statistics section (page 73) of The Economist for April 4.
