Dogs in Grocery Stores
Cannot find another area to register a complaint about dogs in grocery stores. Yesterday in Tucson at WalMart, a woman had 4 quite dirty dogs in the grocery cart with the fifth one walking beside her on a leash. These were NOT service dogs. How unsanitary is that for the next person unknowingly putting their groceries in the same cart!! Something must be done to protect the innocent public without infringing on the rights of those who truly need a service animal to accompany them.

Most all markets have the policies to stop people from bringing in heir pets. But employees do not enforce it. I have told the employee at entrance, no response. Walmart and all others need to instruct and give employees a printed statement to hand out.....and consequences if owners refuse. If no consequences, no compliance. I have also confronted folks and get usual excuse about "pet therapy" or just walk away with the animals. I have seen parrots, and other exotic animals at times too. Dog owners are worst.
