Medical Marijuana Patients across the state are being charged with possession and numerous other charges under A.R.S. title 13 chapter 34 this needs to be added to rules and statutes so they know of this.3 votes
There is a statement on the back of each registry identification card that says, “Possessing marijuana may be in violation of local, state or federal laws.” The statement is there so people can “know of this”.
There needs to be a way for poverty stricken disabled people can get medicine that helps chronic pain.
Living on $945.00 a month for 2 adults, fixed income, both medically challenged. Can't afford card, dr. visit or dispenseries prices. AHCCCS needs to answer the call.3 votes
AHCCCS is not part of ADHS.
I thought it would be smart to report a case of legionella, but after finding the form, I don't think a citizen is supposed to fill it out, the questions are worded for a doctor. Will be doctor file one? Are they required to? Am I required to?
No wonder outbreaks get out of control, the reporting system is too beaurocratic. It should be easy to do.3 votes
We appreciate that you are concerned about the spreading of infectious diseases. The law only requires certain people or agencies like healthcare providers and laboratories to report those diseases to the state, which is why the form isn’t written for the general public to complete. You can always call your local county health office or the state Office of Infectious Disease to ensure that your case was reported if you have been diagnosed.
The bed bug infestation at Church on the Street at 3210 NW. grand avenue must be in tens of millions of bugs which must be infecting the entire city and state of arizona with some 100 individuals going through their program every few months-most leaving because of the hundreds of bed bug bites they receive every night in the 100 or so rooms. The entire facility needs to be stripped and decontaminated. Having lived there 6 months, I and my fellow victims received thousands of bites-one room that was bombed with cedar oil killed 2 thousands bugs that we counted in 3 days. But the facility there has to be an enormous problem in regards to the spread of the bed bugs throughout phoenix at the minimum.

Stop playing games with the Law. There are many cancer patients in Arizona who need Medical Marijuana in order to permit them to endure Chemotherapy and other illnesses. Harm in the name of Help that's Arizona...............2 votes
After the Judicial process was completed, ADHS is moving forward with implementation of the Arizona Medical Mairjuana Act.
How can I maintain an "uninterrupted supply of medication," when I can only possess 2.5 onces at a time. It takes 6-8 months for a plant to mature and you would have to have a plant mature every 2 weeks to maintain this. What am supposed to do with the excess, as a plant will produce far more then that at one time. Can I drop off the extra with you or at the police station and pick up my 2.5 ounces bi-weekly? I am trying to abide by the law, but unable to figure out how to do this and still have meds as needed.

ADHS has many programs and can only feature a few at a time. The Tobacco Cessation program is important to us and hasn’t been highlighted lately. We will consider moving it up for awhile. In the meantime, you can always find information through our search function. Here’s the page you were looking for: http://www.azdhs.gov/tobaccofreeaz/
Regarding your feedback button - on smaller screens the button covers several of the left side navigation bar boxes, making it difficult to
Can you move it to the right side of the screen? or hang it from the top, or pop it up from the bottom? Or make it possible to move it out of the way... or provide an option to close it if we're not interested...2 votes
If the Customer Feedback button was covering the left navigation of azdhs.gov, we assume that you have your screen resolution set in the neighborhood of 600 × 800 pixels. Only 3% of our users are in that range. However, we did receive a few complaints, so we’ve moved the button to the right side, away from the navigation. If you continue to experience an issue, you may want to increase your screen resolution to a more common setting such as 1024 × 768 or greater. We see that you did use the button, gave us feedback and we thank you!
I have been looking for the food stamp application for a hour and can not find it. That is awful ! Please direct me to proper web page2 votes
There’s a good reason you cannot find the information about Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as food stamps) – in Arizona, the Department of Economic Security handles that program. You can find out more on its website at: https://www.azdes.gov/variant.aspx?id=5199
How will AZDHS handle CHAAs where the city or country refuse to sign a letter stating that the location qualifies. This refusal which is currently the case in several locations is driven by the fear that Jan Brewer's lawsuit instilled in various governing bodies.1 vote
