The percent positive for new PCR tests reported today is 15.4%. Just noticed that there exists a graph within "Laboratory Testing" page showing a one week moving average of the Percent Positive. It shows we were at 5% the week ending May 3rd. It shows an uptrend starting two weeks after that. The week just ended on June 14th we are at 16%. That is more than triple over the last 5 weeks. We all know, well all except the guy in charge, what CDC recommended for this scenario. Let science guide us!

The percent positive for new PCR tests reported today is above 26%. The truth is in the data. Please show this truth on your dashboard! How many more people have to die before we admit that we are now in a geometric increase and should be doing more to mitigate this? Do we really want to head into using surge capacity knowing the quality of care will be lower than dedicated ICU resources?

You should be expressing the Percent Positive (PP) in a meaningful way that provides a picture of how we are doing over time so that we can clearly see the trend. Calculate the PP on a daily basis, e.g. on June 15th show that 1014 New Cases deriving from 7201 New PCR Cases results in PP of 14.08% for that date. Do that each day and provide a graph showing the PP trend on a daily basis since PCR tests were first available. This would be a critically important view of the data and would provide a much more prompt indicator of when we should adjust our tactics. Every single day matters in this battle. I completely agree with previous comments and yes I too believe the PP was running in mid single digits before Memorial Day. Now it is triple that. Need to show people the truth about what happens when they relax their precautions.

I see that you corrected the graph to 9%. Thank you. Now the same graph is incorrect for the week of July 19 where you are showing 3%. I look at the New Cases and Tests on a daily basis for Yavapai so I know that it was running similar to the prior 4 weeks on the graph and should be in the 9 or 10% area. Please check your numbers again as graph is not correct.
