The only way the total active cases per day decreases is if the daily new case rate declines. Economics 101 teaches us that the rate of change is more important than the change itself. I'm surprised that none of our State's Epidemiologists or Economists have pointed this out. Graphing total cases is meaningless and feeds into a hysterical frenzy. We need to be calm and to recognize that we have flattened the curve and are on the verge of declining daily new case rates.
